2022 California Fall Challenge - Supporting Our Work
For 40 years, the San Francisco Bay Bird Observatory has worked to conserve birds and their habitats through science and outreach.
From Sept. 17th through Oct. 30th, we aim to raise $45,000 during our 2022 California Fall Challenge (CFC) to support the avian research, habitat restoration, and environmental education that we are doing today. Whether it's our popular Birdy Hour speaker series, our efforts to study and protect threatened Snowy Plovers and Least Terns, or new research projects to understand how birds respond to wildlife or use the Bay as a resting spot during migration, SFBBO is working hard to conserve birds and their habitats through science and outreach. 2022 CFC T-Shirt: For a donation of $70 or more to our 2022 California Fall Challenge, you are eligible to receive our 2022 Fall Challenge T-Shirt! Created by artist and biologist Anqi Chen, this beautiful design (draft artwork pictured) showcases delightful Bushtits, a species we find often at our Coyote Creek Field Station (CCFS). The estimated value of the shirt ($20) is not tax deductible. Learn more about our Coyote Creek Field Station. Donations can be made by clicking on the red and white button below.
