CONTRA COSTA MINI-BIG DAY! Led by Denise Wight

per person - Limit 10 people
County: Contra Costa
This abbreviated version of a Contra Costa County Big Day will give you a good idea of what habitats and birds this East Bay county has to offer. We will start birding in Tilden Park, then move down to Albany and Richmond shoreline. Heading east, we will check out Martinez, then Mitchell Canyon on the north side of Mount Diablo. We will then take Marsh Creek Road to East Contra Costa, where we will have a chance to see some Central Valley birds. This will be a great day of great diversity in one of the most exciting counties to bird in our region.
DENISE WIGHT - Denise is a Contra Costa County native and has led walks for both Mount Diablo Audubon and Golden Gate Audubon. Denise has taught birding classes throughout the East Bay since 1993 and is currently teaching a Birding by Ear class at Albany Adult School. Visit Denise's website at www.blkittiwake.com.
