2010 Click Off !

The San Francisco Bay Bird Observatory is proud to present the 2nd Annual Click Off Photo Contest.


To help promote its mission of the conservation of birds and their habitats, the San Francisco Bay Bird Observatory is proud to introduce the 2nd Annual Click Off Photo Contest.  Designed to showcase the bird and habitat diversity found in the Bay Area, the contest will select winners from six categories including Bird Portraits, Bird Behavior, Birds in their Environment, Endangered Species, Human Interaction and Birds of the World.  The Click Off is a great way for you to:

  • Invigorate your birding skills
  • Share your best photos
  • Win valuable prizes
  • Help raise money for SFBBO!

Participants can begin submitting images to SFBBO on July 1st.

People’s Choice Award
Day in the Field with SFBBO Biologist
Spend a day in the field photographing with an SFBBO Biologist at one of SFBBO’s unique project locations. Capture rare and dramatic images while learning from an expert about the common, migratory and/or endangered species and habitats found in the Bay Area.

Category Winners
Bird Blind Photography Workshop with Bruce Finocchio and Michael Kern along with a weekend stay at the private Ramrod Ranch in Monterey county worth $475.

All Winning Images
Winning images featured on SFBBO’s Web Site and monthly newsletters reaching over 3000 people! Winning images also displayed at a public venue. Last year’s images were displayed at the Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Widlife Refuge Environmental Education Center. This year’s venue TBD.
